April 2013 – A major Midwest earth moving equipment manufacturer began converting their operation to EnviroServe’s zirconium process. EnviroServe’s technical staff assisted with the successful implementation of this major changeover.
February 2, 2012 - EnviroServe Chemicals has been granted final approval by CATERPILLAR INC. for two paint pre-treatment systems to their specification 1E4093C – Paint – Pretreatment Chemicals for Metallic Substrates. The product/systems are: EnviroKote 3380 NP / EnviroSeal 3303 (Nanotechnology /NCS) for 5 stage washers; and EnviroPhos 3361 / TAP (Phosphatizing Cleaner / TAP Water) for manual spray. These systems meet or exceed all CATERPILLAR performance requirements of the specification 1E4093C.
December 2011 - EnviroServe Chemicals, Inc a leader in the development and application of zirconium coating (nano) technologies, today announces the development of their new multi-metal accelerated zirconium conversion coating line. This new line of products has successfully passed all lab and field evaluation testing. "The existing full line of zirconium conversion coatings currently offered has been and are still exceeding their expectations throughout the industry. However this new additional line will give our customers even more advantages and better performances. We all know, every finishing operation is different, so why have a one size fits all product?" - Jonathan Ballard, Sales Manager EnviroServe Chemicals. This new product line will have stand alone, cleaner/coater and manual spray wand versions. The new EnviroKote product will be available early March 2012.
May 17, 2011 - EnviroServe Chemicals has been granted final approval by CATERPILLAR INC. for two paint pre-treatment systems to their specification 1E4093C – Paint – Pretreatment Chemicals for Metallic Substrates. The product/systems are: EnviroPhos 3284 / EnviroSeal 3308 (Iron Phosphate/NCS) for 5 stage washers; and EnviroPhos 3287 / DIW (Phosphatizing Cleaner / DIW) for 3 stage washers. These systems meet or exceed all CATERPILLAR performance requirements of the specification 1E4093C.
March 2011 - EnviroServe’s EnviroClean 3777 and EnviroSeal 3302 has been approved and is now being used by a tier one automotive parts manufacturer for their paint pretreatment process for automotive drive shafts. The EnviroServe products have now replaced products that have been used in this process for several years. The new process outperformed the current system by a large margin in all aspects of the operation.
October 2010 - EnviroServe Chemicals begins working with a national paint contractor and a tier one automotive parts manufacturer to specifically develop a system to clean and inhibit drive shafts for the automotive industry.
September 2010 - EnviroServe Chemicals, Inc. passes approval to upgrade their Quality System from ISO 9001:2000 to ISO 9001:2008.
July 2010: EnviroServe Chemicals has started a series of testing procedures, seeking various paint pretreatment approvals for the off road equipment industry. This process will take approximately one year to complete and EnviroServe expects complete approval of its processes.
February 2010 - A leading manufacturer of flow management products, switches all of its machining operations to EnviroServe’ metalworking fluids, after many months of testing and evaluations. EnviroServe has a complete line of metal working fluids designed specifically for use in the nuclear industry.
January 2010 - EnviroServe Chemicals announces its newest heavy-duty deep drawing compound. EnviroDraw 2231 has been thoroughly field tested and proven very effective in severe deep drawing operations of heavy gauge metals. EnviroDraw 2231 has good emulsification characteristics and is easily cleaned with a mild alkaline cleaner.
January 2010 - Large manufacturing facility teams with EnviroServe Chemicals to evaluate and begin going green throughout their 36 plants in the US and Mexico. EnviroServe Chemicals will be assisting with this project throughout 2010.
September 2009 - High-performance bass boat manufacturer endorses Captain Gary’s spray and wipe product “Bass Boat Instant Shine”. This manufacturer recommends “Bass Boat Instant Shine” to its boat owners and suggests they use it on their boats after each outing. A spokesman for the boat manufacturer stated that “Bass Boat Instant Shine” was the best product they had ever evaluated, and was very pleased with the results they obtained.
August 2009 - USA stainless steel products manufacturer replaces their current chemical supplier after several years. EnviroServe Chemicals’ new stainless steel cleaning chemicals have been tested for several months and were proven to be superior! EnviroServe Chemicals develops a product designed specifically for cleaning drawn stainless steel. EnviroServe’s stainless steel cleaning products have been used very successfully in eliminating many issues associated with cleaning drawn stainless steel parts.
July 2009 - US based lift truck manufacturer begins converting all of their USA and Mexico operations to EnviroServe Chemicals’ zirconium processes. EnviroServe’s sales and service staff will assist with the implementation of this changeover with the manufacturer’s corporate engineering and environmental departments. The complete changeover should be concluded by early 2010.
April 2009 - EnviroServe Chemicals begins providing a custom formulated heavy duty vanishing fluid for a large USA based electrical components manufacturer. The custom formulated vanishing fluid has significantly reduced their overall cost associated with both stamping and cleaning.
February 2009 - Manufacturer of steel bed and chair components begins converting its remaining plants to EnviroServe Chemicals’ zirconium process. The manufacturer has been evaluating and using EnviroServe chemicals’ zirconium in their largest plant for almost three years. The results they have obtained have been outstanding. The manufacturer plans to start up a new plant and will be using EnviroServe’s zirconium process from start-up. The changeover should be completed by late spring of this year.
January 2009 - Captain Gary’s Marine Care Products was exhibited at three boating / fishing expo shows. Many of the products were demonstrated at the shows and were considered a huge success. The shows were in Raleigh North Carolina, Richmond Virginia and Greensboro North Carolina. Two additional shows are to be held at Charleston, South Carolina and Orange County High School in Orange, Virginia later this spring.
May 2008 - Large compressor re-manufacturer teams with EnviroServe to produce a new line of products used in their remanufacturing processes. These products include heavy-duty cleaners, paint strippers, derusters, metal brighteners, and degreasers. In many cases re-manufactured parts are extremely dirty, oily, and corroded requiring special chemistry.
March 2008 - EnviroServe Chemicals introduces their new Captain Gary’s Marine Care Products product line. This product line includes all of products needed to maintain any boat or RV in top notch condition, regardless of size or type. Several products are designed to specifically restore the original luster and appearance of gelcoat, fiberglass, and most metals surfaces. In many cases, these products will bring damaged and worn looking finishes back to an almost new appearance. This product line includes products for cleaning, polishing, protecting, and maintaining boats and RVs. January 2008 - EnviroServe Chemicals introduces its new Kleaner Solutions line of products. The Kleaner Solutions product line is designed as an institutional and small package product line. September 2007 - Metal Finishing; a national magazine, publishes an article written by EnviroServe Chemicals’ chemists about zirconium paint pretreatment. This article can be found in the September 2007 issue of Metal Finishing Magazine.
August 2007 - SMF Southern Metal Finishing; a regional magazine, publishes an article written by EnviroServe Chemicals’ chemists entitled What is Salt Spray? It is a detailed look at a common test used in paint testing applications.
May 2007 - After several months of development, EnviroServe Chemicals introduces a laser scale remover for use in either immersion or spray applications. This product has successfully been used to remove the tenacious scale left on parts cut by laser systems.
March 2007 - USA based lift truck manufacturer converts its iron phosphate pre-treatment chemical process to EnviroServe Chemicals’ zirconium process after months of evaluation and testing. The customer made this desicion to improve the pretreatment and corrosion resistance performance.
January 2007 - EnviroServe Chemicals introduces three additional products into its already successful zirconium product line. These additions include products used in steam, hot water and high pressure washing applications. These zirconium based product deliver a much improved corrosion resistance over conventional iron phosphate systems.
November 2006 - SMF Southern Metal Finishing; a regional magazine publishes, an article. The article was written about zirconium technology and can be found in the November 2006 issue of SMF.
March 2006 - EnviroServe Chemicals introduces a new Low Temperature / Phosphate Free Conversion Coating product line. These coatings eliminates phosphate from the process bath and contains no regulated heavy metals. Sludge is dramatically reduced to a minimum while waste treatment costs and other effluent issues are practically diminished. Reduced sludge formation results in considerably lower maintenance costs since fewer bath dumps are needed and the incidence of plugged nozzles and other problems are reduced.
February 2006 - Large manufacturer of copper parts, contacts several industrial chemical suppliers, requesting assistance with a cleaning and brightening production and quality problem. EnviroServe Chemicals quickly responds and designs a product that outperforms the current process and solves the manufacturer’s production and quality issues. The supplier now exclusively uses EnviroServe Chemicals in their processes.
September 2005 - EnviroServe Chemicals earns its ISO 9001-2000 certification from Perry Johnson registrars.
